Q:
What kind of person should I watch out for?
A: Escort
Offender Characteristics - although some offenders who create
problems may be people with criminal pasts, most offenders
are just regular people. Most incidents involve offenders
who have NO official criminal record or crime history of
any kind. However, even though there is no such thing as
a "typical" offender, all tend to be manipulative,
deceptive, and secretive. Escort offenders come from all
backgrounds, ages, income levels, and professions. Many
times the personality or the client is altered because they
have been drinking or using drugs. When under the influence,
they may not intrepret situations clearly and take offense,
often reacting more emotionally or defensively and things
can quickly get out of hand.
Q: I have just had a bad encounter with a client,
what can I do about it?
A: If violence was involved call the Police.
Reporting the assault is not the same as prosecuting. The
decision to prosecute can be made later. Police should be
notified at 911 and local law enforcement will handle the
case. If there was no violence (and especially when there
is), be sure to post your incident on BLACKLIST. Escorts
should be aware when a client has a history where they are
prone to verbal or physical abuse. If the encounter just
involved a flaky client or some pranksters, you should report
them to National Blacklist, because after all, your time
and the time of your fellow escorts is to valuable to be
wasted on childish or deceitful behavior.
Q:
What if an offender moves or changes his phone number? If
an offender moves or takes other steps so he won't be found,
he may still be identified through other information he
gave you. That is why it is imperative you post emails,
addresses, names, descriptions, anything you can to help
each other.
Q:
What if and offender changes his/her name? - An
offender is likely to use an alias, but may be identified
though a description, his car, the phone number used, e-mail
used or other information.
